SiQuest Corporation was founded orginally as "Armor Data" in 2001 as a part-time software development company specializing in automated criminal documents solutions for policing. The principal owner both then and now is John Bradley, a former police Sergeant with over 17 years of experience in criminal investigations. John has been involved in computer forensics since 1997 and has been developing commercial software since 1993.

In April 2006, John left policing and entered into the private sector by joining Scotiabank in downtown Toronto as Director of Technology Crime and Forensics. Restless from the mundane day to day board meetings that were much ado about nothing, John decided to finally chart his own course and pursue his long time dream of owning and running his own company (full time).

With this interest, he rebranded the company name to "Digital Investigations Group" (DIG), and positioned himself to be a leading provider of computer forensic investigations and expert witness services.

DIG was a uniquely qualified stakeholder in the field of computer forensics and very quickly established itself as one of the few such companies in Canada. Since the creation of DIG, John has dedicated significant resources to building the software products side of the company's offerings. In 2006, CacheBack® Version 1 was unveiled and has since become the leading forensic tool available for Internet cache and history analysis. CacheBack®, now in its second generation, along with other software projects currently under development, has become a major focal point for continued investment of company resources.

By fall of 2009, a new vision for the company was conceived, and the company was rebranded one final time to "SiQuest Corporation". According to John,

"It was very important that the new name signify the company's true level of commitment to the forensic industry and provide guiding principles upon which all new products and services would be based. For these reasons, SiQuest was chosen because it represents the search for scientific intelligence, a qualitative (or measurable or accurate) form of information (data). These elements are a fitting context to a professional field that is dependent upon accuracy."

SiQuest is poised to becoming a major player in the field of computer forensics and software tools development. With a talented team of developers, experienced investigators, and a global context for innovation, SiQuest will be aggressive in its bid to be recognized for product and services excellence. SiQuest is equally committed to providing a truly unrivaled level support to its customers.

"Our primary focus will be on targeting next-generation software solutions in the bid to support government and law enforcement in their fight against technology crime, and crimes against children. We will also continue to build and expand our professional services offerings involving computer forensics, electronic investigations and expert witness services.

We are extremely excited about the future for SiQuest and at the opportunities for us to make a difference in the forensics industry!".
