Former top cybercop creates leading
Internet forensics software development company
John Bradley, (CEO & Chief Software Architect for SiQuest Corporation, formerly Digital Investigations Group Inc.), has specialized in the high tech field of computer forensics and development of forensic software tools, since 1997.
As a former police Sergeant and 17-year veteran of the Durham Regional Police, he established and managed the organization's first Electronic Crimes Unit in March 2000. As the lead computer forensic investigator for almost six years, John was involved in major criminal investigations which included but were not limited to homicides, serious sexual assaults, child pornography, major frauds, robberies, theft of and mischief to data, domestic related incidents, and missing persons.

The remarkable ability to communicate complex technical information in a manner that is both professional and easily understood by others earned him a commendation by the Assistant Crown Attorney for his work in Durham Region's first murder by poison (R. vs. Raghunauth). John has also earned the distinction of being declared an expert by the Superior Court of Justice which is a recognized accomplishment in the computer forensic industry. His compelling testimony at homicide trials has been a measurement of his dedication and skill.

Having left his policing career as a Sergeant, John now specializes in the development of Internet forensic software solutions. His flagship product known as CacheBack is fast becoming the tool of choice for Internet related investigations and is currently in use by governments and law enforcement agencies, and corporations worldwide.

John's development of the Photograph Aspect Ratio Theory (PART) was recognized as a major contribution to the battle against child pornography by refining the accuracy and speed of identifying and cataloging picture related evidence.

Although SiQuest is predominantly a leading forensic software development company with focus on supporting law enforcement, the company also provides forensic consultation, expert witness, and data recovery services, on a select basis.
SiQuest's range of noted professional consultation services cater to corporate and commercial litigation, as well as in-house corporate (often HR related) investigations.

What's in the name? - SiQuest represents the search for and through scientific intelligence. This play on words relates to the development or use of forensic software that is designed to identify, and examine data, by which the 'means or results' are scientific (measurable, accurate and/or quantitative). The word intelligence is a synonym for information, data, and/or evidence.

John is an Certified Computer Examiner and former instructor of EnCase Advanced Series courses through which he passed on his knowledge to corporate and police investigators from across Canada. Now through SiQuest Corporation, he continues to educate his clients about the advantages and probative sources of information available through computer forensics.

John keeps abreast of emerging technical trends and legal issues and is a member in good standing with international professional organizations such as the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists, the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, the Computer Technology Investigators Network, and the Council of Private Investigators for Ontario.

John is proud to have his products in use throughout Canada, the US, Europe, Australia, South America, and as far away as China. SiQuest actively pursues strategic alliances and is being positioned to becoming a leader in Internet Forensics.
